Welcome to Assembly Yard – a versatile event space designed to support all event types. Established in Autumn 2018, Assembly Yard was built with the ethos in promoting the arts in a relaxed setting whilst allowing our wedding clients an array of opportunities within the space to celebrate on any budget.

 

In a competitive market, we’ve found success through blurring the lines of transition between internal and external spaces; with a heavy focus on outdoor entertaining amongst our fig and olive trees.

 

We, along with partner business The Little Posy Co. can proudly say we are Carbon Neutral. Each year, we measure the carbon footprint of our operations and work hard to find ways to reduce our emissions or eliminate them where we can. Emissions we cannot eliminate we offset by purchasing certified carbon credits. One of our favourite local offsetting projects involves restoring biodiversity in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor in WA’s Wheatbelt.

We have always been committed to carbon reduction from the very moment we took residency, this involved: executing the replant and greening of our 2000m2 yard, developing our own self-sufficient waste management programme, installing a new skylight system on our warehouse roof to ensure a reduction of electricity and lighting use and placing solar on our roof to run our refrigeration system with any additional electricity being fed back into the grid.
